It has a 1.6 million-Euro budget for Castilla y Léon co-financed by the Junta de Castilla y León (54%) and by the Ministry of Industry (46%). Executed by Cedetel?s Mobility Innovation Centre (CIM), it supports the commitment of the regional executive and Microsoft to impulse innovation and the development of the local software industry through the creation of vertical solutions which will increase the productivity of strategic sectors by facilitating their access to national and international markets. T Pymedigital is a priority for the CIM, which strives to create and activate an ecosystem made up of the regional industry, TICs and technological centres. This project will be executed along three lines: creating 28 vertical solutions with the support of Microsoft, commercialising these products through its partner network and developing a programme of directive capacities of the TIC sector. The development of the 28 computer solutions will be centred fundamentally on productivity and collaboration solutions, mobility, management (ERP), products developed by companies themselves using their own technologies, and methodology of the directive programme. Companies participating in the Pymedigital project will have access to the know-how of leading companies such as Microsoft, and other manufacturers, such as SAP. Companies will also be required to present a business plan, which they will be able to produce with the collaboration of Cedetel. The solutions will be commercialised through the partner networks of the above mentioned companies, but especially through the Impulsa Channel, which includes Microsoft?s most exclusive Partners, since only 140 companies out of more than 5.000 participate in it. In Castilla y León, only 10 TIC companies are included in this network and will receive training and business methodology geared towards the sale of solutions. The project also includes the creation of a brand which will be used to commercialise the package of products in international markets. Pymedigital is completed with a capacitydevelopment programme and strategic competences for TICs to detect business opportunities, to lead them and manage their development. A total of 30 companies have been selected to participate in this programme, which by doing so will be able to implement in their company an innovative technological solution, with a diagnose of their current situation, and advice to apply for subsidies. The foundations of this Project, which will extend initially until year 2012, were set last year with the development of the first edition, resulting in the creation of numerous business solutions. It also helped to support the TIC sector, establishing a successful model for the collaboration between the Administration, technological centres and small and medium-size companies.
